Co-Administrator, Hawai'i Seaglider Initiative

Veronica Rocha is the Co-Administrator of the Hawaii Seaglider Initiative - a consortium of 30+ local government, private sector, and community stakeholders working to increase awareness, understanding, and adoption of seagliders in Hawai’i with a focus on community, culture and environment. She is also the Founder & Principal at Essential Leap - a cleantech innovation and market adoption consulting company. Veronica has more than a decade of cleantech experience spanning the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. As the founder of Essential Leap, she has secured over $84 million in grant funding for breakthrough technologies and solutions. Previously, she served as the Renewable Energy Program Manager at the Hawaii State Energy Office, leading efforts to achieve the state’s goal of 100% renewable energy by 2045. Veronica holds an MBA and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
