Olin Kealoha Lagon is a serial social entrepreneur dedicated to launching and scaling social ventures. He has founded multiple ventures across Hawaiʻi, the continental U.S., and Russia, growing them from concept to serving Global 5000 companies. He has invented and patented technologies used by millions, including co-launching ChipIn, one of the world’s first online crowdfunding service, which directed $100 million globally. His current company, Shifted Energy, helps grid operators integrate more indigenous energy while reducing costs, with over 95% of deployments in underserved communities. Beyond engineering, his finance background includes data science, AI, and large-scale financial systems. He has spent decades on education initiatives, including co-founding the Purple Maiʻa Foundation which fosters culturally grounded tech and entrepreneurship. With extensive board and nonprofit experience, he has helped drive economic and educational decisions impacting Hawaiʻi at scale.
