Born and raised in Maui, Gabriel Yanagihara is a skilled educator with expertise in AI, computer science, creative media, and video game design. He currently teaches at Iolani School, where his focus includes AI, game design, 3D printing, and fabrication. Gabriel also serves as the Head Coach for the school's Esports program. Beyond his teaching role, he is a strong advocate for Professional Development and Community Outreach. Gabriel frequently delivers keynotes, conducts teacher training, and leads professional development workshops on various topics in the fields of emerging technology.
